Made with organic, non-denatured whey protein, organic berries, and greens (try kale, spinach and parsley, a protein-packed smoothie is a great way to get more nutrition into your day and can be especially helpful for picky eaters.
A juicer is a great way to get fresh juice from your favorite fruit. Organic apples are my favorite. Other fruits that can be used for your smoothie are pears, kiwis, mangos, pineapples, peaches, oranges, cantaloupes, berries, bananas, avocados, and grapes.
Here is a recipe for Superfood Smoothie;
8oz freshly squeezed juice or organic store bought
8oz purified water
2 heaping tablespoons of SuperFood
1 heaping tablespoon of Whey Protein (Standard Process)
1 cup of fresh or frozen fruits (diced as applicable)
Optional: 1 tablespoon Whole Food Fiber (Standard Process)
If using fresh fruits, add some ice cubes to improve the consistency of the smoothie.
1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until well blended.
